- To search for a person, enter their name as lastname, firstname in the subject field.
Example: Owens, Bill.
- To search for a heading, enter either one word (can be truncated) or a phrase in the heading field.
- You can also search by date, or limit a search by entering a start and/or ending date.
The date should be entered in yyyy-mm-dd format.
Example date: 2002-02-14
- Note: indexing prior to 1979 is limited.
The index contains entries from January 1900 to August 2005
